HORSES, TACK AND RIDING EXPERIENCE
Useful information Non riders are welcome for short rides without "Jura on horseback" trail that is longer trail. YOUR GUIDESAnne-Sophie, qualified equestrian guide and lives in Jura all the year. She will make you dicover her beautiful and rich area in total security. ACCOMMODATIONAccommodationConfortable but simple cottages and wooden houses (rooms from 3 to 4 people).
MealsEvery morning, you'll leave with the picnic in your saddle bags. And picnic lunch will be take in nice places along the ride. Succulent and traditionnal dinners will be served at the accommodation. Breakfast are also included. DATES AND RATES

GENERAL INFORMATIONDURATION 2 days / 1 night / 2 days on horseback 5 days / 4 nights / 5 days on horseback LANGUAGE English / French speaking guide. GROUP SIZE 3 to 8 riders. MEETING POINT The meeting point or transfers since stations SNCF of Lons Saunier (return 70€ to be paid directly). The trail begings at 9 am from the riding school. Departure for those who arrive with their own vehicle around 5 pm the last day, (possibility of taking the train of 5:34 pm for others). CLIMATE In summer, temperatures are usually warm, fresh in forests
and at high altitude. We will provide you an equipment list before departure.
For the beginning or end of season, the temperatures can fall rather low: an adequate equipment is recommended.
HEALTH
There are no specific health formalities and emergency medical treatment is as widely available in the country.
ENTRY FORMALITIES A valid passport is required of all foreigners entering France, except people living from a Schengen agreement country for who a valid ID card is enough.
All foreign citizens who wish to come to France must be able to present regulatory proof of the purpose of their stay, means of support and accommodation. In some cases, they need a visa to enter France. Visas must be applied for before leaving for France at a French consular office.
France is a member of European Union. No visa is required for citizens of other EU states.
