Riding in winter in the snow is a rare experience. You will enjoy very different feelings, and discover an incredible landscape of frozen lakes and white forests. Our strong horses are perfectly adapted to this rough environment.

These trails depend on climatic conditions : a pass can be open one day, and closed the day after.

That's why the daily itinerary - between 15 and 20 km - is not scheduled and depends on the conditions we meet. Opportunities of experiencing great riding moments are always the target, in High-Jura as well as in lakes area.

We organize 2 days week ends and 4 days week ends during all the winter period.

The ranch owns ten horses, mainly appaloosas and spanish horses, as well as a few Haflingers.
The saddles are MacLellan and classical French trail saddles.

Riders have to be confident at all gaits, aged 16 and more, or 14 if children are with their parents.
Max weight : 110kg.

Rates 2008
2 days / 1 night = 225€ / rider (sharing room)
4 days / 3 nights = 460 € / rider (sharing room)
Night + dinner at the farm (for example if you arrive at the farm the day before the trail) = 33 € / person.

Included

- The trail as described, on full board basis, with English / French speaking guide.
- Return transfers from and to the train station "La Chaux des Crotenay".
- Total financial guaranty (APS) of all payments made to us.

Not included

- Transport to the meeting point (please contact us),
- Transfers from other train stations : 15€ / person from Frasne TGV or Lons le Saunier train station, to be paid directly to the guide.
- A tour to discover other regions of France before or after the trail (castle life, golf training, thalassotherapy spas...), see our "after ride proposals".
- Any other prestation,
