RIDE ITINERARYINTRODUCTION TO TRAIL RIDING
We suggest you on that program to discover horse riding in open spaces, and particularly on outside trails in very small groups (1 to 6 riders). This program is suitable for beginners and first experience on trail. Day 1 - Sunday Meeting point to the riding center late afternoon. Dinner and night in hotel. Days 2 to 5 - Monday to Thursday We leave for a sensory discovery of the horses, his communications, his individual and collective behavour, with the other horses and with humans. Next we learn about the daily cares to give the horse (grooming, food,...). Next we learn about tack, his use, how to saddle, unsaddle... When you're ready we start to ride and slowly learn the 3 paces, riding essentialy in pine forests and beaches. Before to leave for 2 days trail ride in order to experience a real trail, we'll teach you how to read a map, use a compass, the safety rules....Breakfast, dinners and nights are spent in 2* hotel. Lunches are not included, in order you be free to discover the numerous places to eat nearby. Days 6 and 7 - Friday and Saturday We leave for a 2 days mini trail in order to apply all you learnt the 4 previous days. Accommodation in 2* hotel in half board basis.
Day 8 - Sunday Departure of the riders after breakfast.
EQUESTRIAN FAMILY STAY
In family or with friends, we suggest you a 8 days flexible stay with accommodation in 2* hotel (breakfast included in July and August, and half board included all year long) and several horses horse riding to use when and as you want. You can choose lessons to improve your technique, or decide to make a trail ride and join other rider for a few hours trail. 2 types of horse riding packages can be booked : - 6 lessons a week (2h00 / lesson) - 8 lessons a week (2h00 / lesson) HORSES, TACK AND RIDING EXPERIENCEHorses
We have about 20 anglo arab horses. The most part of them were born and schooled at the farm. They are all used to leave outside and do the trails all year long. Tack English tack. We don't accept your own saddle on this ride. Saddlebags are provided during the day to put your things inside. The helmet or riding hat is compulsory on that ride. We can provide you a helmet if necessary. Riding experience The "Introtuction to trail riding" program is made for novice riders. The "Equestrian falily stay" can be booked for any people from the novice rider to the advanced rider. Children are accepted from 13 years old if accompagnied by an adult. And minors from 15 years old are welcome on that ride. Maximum weight 95kg.
Important : Non riders are welcomed, numerous non riding acticvities are available on that part of the Atlantic Coast. YOUR GUIDESThe ride is supervised by a Guide of Equestrian Tourism (ATE or GTE). They perfectly knows the region and will make them a great pleasure to make you discover.
ACCOMMODATIONAccommodation
Our riding center is located 400m from the Atlantic Ocean shoreline and in the heart of the pine forest.
Meals
During the trail, meals will allowed you to discover local gastronomy. Lunches are not included during the 4 first days during the "Introduction" and during the all stay if you choice the family stay program. Numerous places to eat nearby. DATES AND RATES

- Single Supplement : 161 € - Extra night in Single Room : 85 € - Extra night in Double Room : 65 € For all these programs, if you're booking alone, you'll have to book in single room. Included - the introduction or family stay as describe in half board basis,
- Total and unlimited financial guarantee (APS) of all payments made to us (see "why ride with us ?"), - Protection of the French Law for travel consumers who book through French travel agencies (see "why ride with us ?"). Not included - transport to and from the meeting point (Landes),

GENERAL INFORMATIONDURATION Introduction to trail riding
8 days / 7 nights / 6 days horseback activities. Equestrian family stay 8 days / 7 nights / 6 or 8 courses (2h00 long) on horseback. LANGUAGE English / French speaking guide.
GROUP SIZE From 1 to 6 riders on the "Introduction to trail riding" program.
From 1 rider on the stay. MEETING POINT Meeting point directly to the riding centre (Mimizan).
Possibility of road transfer from Morcenx train station (30 € per person per way, to pay directly). In that case, you must plan a train arriving in Morcenx at 1.20pm. CLIMATE This part of France enjoys an oceanic climate, with quite hot summers (25°C)but usually windy days. But evenings can be fresh, so don't forget your hot sweater.

HEALTH
There are no specific health formalities and emergency medical treatment is as widely available in the country.
ENTRY FORMALITIES A valid passport is required of all foreigners entering France, except people living from a Schengen agreement country for who a valid ID card is enough.
All foreign citizens who wish to come to France must be able to present regulatory proof of the purpose of their stay, means of support and accommodation. In some cases, they need a visa to enter France. Visas must be applied for before leaving for France at a French consular office.
France is a member of European Union. No visa is required for citizens of other EU states.
