RIDE ITINERARYRiding in winter in the snow is a rare experience. You will enjoy
very different feelings, and discover an incredible landscape
of frozen lakes and white forests. Our strong horses are perfectly
adapted to this rough environment. That's why the daily itinerary is not
scheduled and depends on the conditions we meet. Opportunities
of experiencing great riding moments are always the target, in
Alps. If you come by train, you'll have to arrive one day earlier, to be ready the morning of day 1.
HORSES, TACK AND RIDING EXPERIENCEHorses Tack
Recommended riding level Helmet obligatory for our rides in Savoie Mountains. Children aged of 12 years old are accepted
if they are with their parents or they need to be 16 years old without parents. YOUR GUIDESOur guides are qualified equestrian guide. They will make you dicover this beautiful and rich area they like a lot. ACCOMMODATIONAccommodationConfortable but simple cottages and wooden houses (rooms from 4 to 6 people).
MealsEvery morning, you'll leave with the picnic in your saddle bags. And picnic lunch will be take in nice places along the ride. Succulent and traditionnal dinners will be served at the accommodation. Breakfast are also included.

GENERAL INFORMATIONDURATION 2 days / 1 nights / 2 days on horseback LANGUAGE English / French speaking guide. GROUP SIZE 2 to 8 riders. MEETING POINT We can arrange transfer since and towards the station of Aix-les-Bains (You have to plan systematically the night before the trail in cottage if you arrive by train): plan an arrival late in the afternoon the day before the departure and the departure at the end of the afternoon the last day (at about 6:00 pm - approximately 30 min of road). CLIMATE In winter, temperatures can be quite low : take warm and water resistant coats and boots.
HEALTH
There are no specific health formalities and emergency medical treatment is as widely available in the country.
ENTRY FORMALITIES A valid passport is required of all foreigners entering France, except people living from a Schengen agreement country for who a valid ID card is enough.
All foreign citizens who wish to come to France must be able to present regulatory proof of the purpose of their stay, means of support and accommodation. In some cases, they need a visa to enter France. Visas must be applied for before leaving for France at a French consular office.
France is a member of European Union. No visa is required for citizens of other EU states.
