During this outdoor weekend, we invite you to disconnect from daily life. The Lyons Forest is a huge forest of breeches, spread on 11000 hectares, undulating and dotted with springs and rivers in a rural setting perfumed by the sea air. |

RIDE ITINERARY
Day 1 - Friday
Meeting at the riding centre before 07:00pm. You enjoy a good dinner cooked by our guide. During the dinner, we discuss our weekend excursion. Night at the guesthouse.
Day 2 - Saturday
This morning, you have a hearty breakfast at 07:00am., You prepare your horse and leave the riding centre for a 20 to 25 km ride. We have a break at lunch and have a picnic made of regional products. You spend the afternoon on horseback and come back to the riding centre around 5:00pm. You take care of the horses and material before a convivial dinner. Night at the guesthouse.
Day 3 - Sunday
This day is similar to the day before. The ride today leads you in the Normandic forests and the countryside. Picnic lunch. You come back to the riding centre around 05:00 pm for leaving.
HORSES, TACK AND RIDING EXPERIENCE

HorsesWe use Icelandic horses for their adaptability. Indeed, it is a strong horse, generous and kind who helps his rider feel trustful. They are used to live in herds and so, the Icelandic horse is a perfect trail horse. Our taller horses are Irish Cobs.

Recommended riding experience
For this trail you should be confident at all paces. You also need a bit of stamina to be able to ride from 5 to 6 hours a day.
To know
Each rider is responsible for his own horse - feet, detection of small injuries and tack.
The headgear is mandatory.

Accommodation
Riders are accommodated in a guesthouse with two double rooms, one single room, a caravan and one bathroom.Meals
We eat fresh products everyday, and most of them are local.
At noon, we will have a picnic lunch. At night, we will have dinner at the guesthouse.

CLIMATE
You should prepare yourself to face any kind of weather from bright sunshine to thunderstorm, but you have to know that crossing the bay is always, however the weather is, an impressive adventure !
HEALTH
There are no specific health formalities and emergency medical treatment is as widely available in the country.
ENTRY FORMALITIES
A valid passport is required of all foreigners entering France, except people living from a Schengen agreement country for who a valid ID card is enough.
All foreign citizens who wish to come to France must be able to present regulatory proof of the purpose of their stay, means of support and accommodation. In some cases, they need a visa to enter France. Visas must be applied for before leaving for France at a French consular office.
France is a member of European Union. No visa is required for citizens of other EU states.
No visa is required for US visitors staying less than 3 months.
