RIDE ITINERARYDay 1 - Saturday
Our trip leads us on a ride through Boziu today. In this pastoral region, we leave on the meeting of the free herds... We discover typical images and atmosphere. Then, we reach the charming small village of Maïto. We return then in the shelter for the dinner and at night (or in bivouac in July and August).
This morning, we get into the saddle and begin an ascent towards the point of Caldane peaking in 1725 m. From here, we have an impregnable point of view and overhang a magnificent panorama of Costa Serena.
Day 5 - Wednesday After the breakfast, we leave on horseback, then, after approximately three hours of ride and arrive to the sea. By good weather, we can perceive in the wide Elba and the Island of Monte Cristo! On the beach, we take advantage of it to make a break. If the heart says to us, a pleasant bathing with horses will refresh us. According to the envies, we can pursue by fast gallops on the beach or some idleness. Dinner and night in guesthouse (or in bivouac in July and August). Day 6 - Thursday Our route begins with an ascent towards the Valley of Tavignano today. Giving its name to the Valley which it crosses, this river takes its source on Nino Lake in 1750 metres high and throws itself on the oriental coast of the island. Along the way, we cross the Chapel of Pancheraccia which we visit. Your guide will please to tell you the history of this so particular site . Dinner and at night in shelter (or in bivouac in July and August).
Day 7 - Friday This morning, after the breakfast and the preparation of horses, we get into the saddle and leave for a new day of ride. This one is notably punctuated by the crossing of Tavignano. After a swim in the river, it is necessary then time to return on Corte where we arrive at about 5 pm.

Children are welcomed from 12 years old if accompanied by an adult, or 14 years old if alone. This ride is perfect as a first experience of trail ride. LogisticOur support vehicle will join you every evenings with your luggage and sometimes during lunch time. Maximum luggage weight : 20kg. ACCOMMODATIONAccommodationThis trail is set in a particularly wild environment, but with comfortable accommodations in guesthouse, shelters (dormitory) during the low season. In july and August, you'll spend 4 nights in bivouac under tent (nights 3, 4, 6 and 7). The first and last nights will be spent in bungalow or shelter in Corte. Take your sleeping bag with you anyway.
MealsFor lunch, picnic will be taken from saddlebags. Dinners will be hot meals. You'll have the opportunity to taste local specialties (cooked pork meats, cheeses and local alcohols). DATES AND RATES

GENERAL INFORMATIONDURATION 8 days / 7 nights / 6 days on horseback LANGUAGE French and English - riders from all nationalities. GROUP SIZE From 4 to 10 riders MEETING POINT Meeting point to Bastia airport or Bastia port. CLIMATE Mild climate all year long in Corsica, but be careful of mountain storms. Evening can be fresh, so don't forget your sweater and rain coat.
HEALTH
There are no specific health formalities and emergency medical treatment is as widely available in the country.
ENTRY FORMALITIES A valid passport is required of all foreigners entering France, except people living from a Schengen agreement country for who a valid ID card is enough.
All foreign citizens who wish to come to France must be able to present regulatory proof of the purpose of their stay, means of support and accommodation. In some cases, they need a visa to enter France. Visas must be applied for before leaving for France at a French consular office.
France is a member of European Union. No visa is required for citizens of other EU states.
