Day 1
Meeting point directly at the castle in the afternoon. You can get installed in your bedroom from 3pm. You will be able to enjoy the castle's wonderful facilities: warm outdoor swimming pool (in the summer), walks around the 40 hectares' park, mountain biking... For diner, menu "Menu du marché" and night in the castle.
Day 2
After breakfast, meeting in front of the magnificent satbles. The equestrian program is "à la carte" (to choose during your registration). The instructor offers dressage and jumping training sessions to perfect your riding abilities or to get back in the saddle. If you wish, small rides around the castle can be proposed. You can build your stay depending on your preferences (choice of discipline, choice of lesson management, choice of duration...). Lunch at the castle is included as well as the diner, menu "Menu du marché". Night in the castle.
Day 3
Breakfast, then, according to your program of the day before, you willfind the horses for your lesson or your ride, or you will enjoy your morning by relaxing at the castle. Lunch then individual departures.
The bedroom has to be free for 12pm. If you have ridden in the morning, you will have the time to take a shower before lunch. Your luggage will stay at recpetion during your meal.
The exemple above is given for a 3 days / 2 nights stay, you can also choose to stay longer to make the most of the top-of-the-range facilities.

Annual closing :
2024: open Friday to Sunday at lunchtime + school vacations. Closed for Christmas.
January / February 2024: closed until 14/02/24.

The horses are well-trained and willing. They are French saddle, trotter and Lusitanian breeds. They are particularly well-groomed. You will have a horse perfectly suitable to your level and to which activities you want to do.
For the youngest riders, some Connemara and New-forest horse breeds are available.
We use English saddles.
Suitable riding ability
This riding stay is for every riding ability. The non-riders are also welcome.
Each day, you'll have the choice between trails and horse riding
lessons in the outdoor area with a competent teacher.
Good to know
The riders owning a horse can make the riding stay with their horse.
The non-riders can enjoy the many facilities inside and outside the castle (swimming pool, hammam, on-demand care, mountain bikes, ping-pong...).
6 years old minors are accepted if accompanied and if having the necessary riding level.
Helmet is compulsory.

Your accommodation is a castle from the XIXth century. You will sleep in one of the 19 nice bedrooms equipped with a private bathroom. Every bedroom is unique and has a panoramic view on the bocage or on the training paths!
Every bedroom is equipped with Wifi and satelite television.
You have the choice between 5 types of room :
- Pavillon bedroom:
Situated in the garden pavillon, on the side of the castle, the bedrooms are furnished with the countryside style. With a direct access to the gardens, they are very appreciated, as they are open to the castle’s park. They are equipped with a bath or shower, a double or twin bed, a flat screen TV, a minibar and an air-conditioning system.
One of these bedrooms meets the accessibility standards for people with reduced mobility.
- Standard bedroom:
Orientated to the north, they offer a view on the horses’ maneges. They are equipped with a bath or a shower, as well as a free Wi-Fi access, a flat screen TV, a minibar and an air-conditioning system.
- Comfort bedroom:
Orientated to the south or north, they offer a panoramic view, either on the Bourbonnais bocage or on the horses’ maneges. They are equipped with a double or a twin bed, as well as a free Wi-Fi access, a flat screen TV, a minibar, a welcome tray and a reversible air-conditioning system.
- Superior bedroom:
A more spacious bedroom than the Comfort bedroom.
- Luxury bedroom:
Large superficie, 5 big windows, a huge bathroom with a corner bath. This beautiful bedroom conserved its original historical decoration.

The castle’s restaurant proposes high quality French gastronomy dishes. Furthermore, this restaurant is referenced in several guidebooks; such as the Gault and Millau, the Bottin Gourmand, the Guide Champérard, or even, the Routard for the high quality dishes. Our menu is elaborated depending on the season and the products available in the market. We favor the vegetable from our garden, the Charolais meat and the cheeses from the farm.
The breakfast is a hearty buffet. For lunch, we have a "rider" menu (starter and main course or main course and dessert). For dinner, you will have a high quality menu with a starter, a main course and a dessert.
Languages spoken by the guide: Our guide speaks English / French and our head waiter speaks
Spanish and Portuguese too.
Group size: Between yourselves. Never more than 6 riders per group, the average size of the group being way below.
Arrival airport / train station: Meeting directly at the castle at 3pm.
If you come by train, the closest train station is Moulins sur Allier.
Chargeable shuttle can be organized at anytime from the closest train station (Moulins sur Allier): 60€ per way per car (maximum 4 people in the car and maximum 8 people in the minibus). Transfer time is approximately 30 minutes.
