RIDE ITINERARY
SHORT TRAILS (2 to 4 days)
For short trails, itineraries can vary depending to the weather, the accessibility of tracks... You ride in in a rich and preserved area in Natural Park of Bauges during 5 or 6 hours per day (25 km per day). |
HORSES, TACK AND RIDING EXPERIENCE
Horses
The ranch owns many haflingers, french saddle bred and arab horse. Horses use to ride.
Tack
There are English saddles, trail saddles or Mc Lellan. Saddle bags are provided.
Recommended riding level
Riders have to be confident at all gaits.
Useful Information
Children aged of 16 years old are accepted
if they are without their parents or 12 years
Max weight : 90kg. Wearing a riding hat is obligatory.

Our guides are qualified equestrian guide. They will make you dicover this beautiful and rich area they like a lot.
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation
Confortable but simple cottages, chalets or resort according to itineraries. When we stay in a chalet, it's very simple and we can't have a hot shower.... authentic high mountain pasture live!!! You will have to take your own sleeping bag for this night.
Meals
Every morning, you'll leave with the picnic in your saddle bags. And picnic lunch will be take in nice places along the ride. Succulent and traditionnal dinners will be served at the accommodation. Breakfast are also included.

MEETING POINT
We can arrange transfer since and towards the station of Aix-les-Bains. If you arrive by train, you have to plan systematically the night before the trail in cottage (plan an arrival late in the afternoon, around 6:00 pm the day before). The departure at the end of the afternoon the last day is around 6:00 pm (approximately 30 min of road if you need transfer to trains station).
Transfers are to be reserved in advance and pay directly to our guide (from 7€ to 40€ according to the number of persons).
CLIMATE
In summer, temperatures are usually warm (between 15 and 18°C in the morning and 21 in 31°C in the afternoon), fresh in forests
and at high altitude. You have to know that the weather in mountain can quickly change.
HEALTH
There are no specific health formalities and emergency medical treatment is as widely available in the country.
ENTRY FORMALITIES
A valid passport is required of all foreigners entering France, except people living from a Schengen agreement country for who a valid ID card is enough.
All foreign citizens who wish to come to France must be able to present regulatory proof of the purpose of their stay, means of support and accommodation. In some cases, they need a visa to enter France. Visas must be applied for before leaving for France at a French consular office.
France is a member of European Union. No visa is required for citizens of other EU states.
No visa is required for US visitors staying less than 3 months.
