Spring and autumn are two pleasant seasons to go through Vercors. Discover the spring flora, the autumnal colors and the sweetness of the weather in September and October.
For some departures, the rides in Vercors can add one or two days. The proposed routes are appreciably identical to that presented.

Day 1
Welcome of the riders between 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm at the riding school to meet our guide and horses. Dinner and night at the riding school.

Day 2
After breakfast we get into saddle to get the beautiful viewsight on "Les Grands Goulets". Then we discover the wonderful cirque of Combe Laval. Dinner and night in cottage.

Day 3
Today, our guide brings us at the Brudour Cave. After, we cross the high mountain pasture of Font d'Urle and come down by Vassieux to arrive at the horse riding school. Departure around 6 pm.

Day 1 - Sunday
Welcome of the riders between 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm at the riding school to meet our guide and horses. Dinner and night at the riding school.

Day 2 - Monday : La Chapelle en Vercors - Tourtres
For our first day, we get into the saddle and leave for little villages of Jarjette and Brisac. On the road, we have a beautiful view on Isere valley. Dinner and night in cottage.

Day 3 - Tuesday : Tourtres - Pré Grandu
Today the forest track allows us to join high plains and natural reserve. Discovery of Darbonouse lawn and its sheepfold... The central path leads us to Pre-Rateau then to the forest house of Pré-Grandu: our accommodation for this evening. Dinner and night in the forest house.

Day 4 - Wednesday : Pré Grandu - Col du Rousset
New day in one of the biggest natural reserve in France. We pass close to the Grand Veymont, peak of Vercors (on 2340 m). Between the "Pas de Chatons" and the "Pas de Bachassons" we shall have an exceptional view on Mount Aiguille and farway Alps. We follow our trail to join the station of Col du Rousset. Dinner and night in the refuge.

Day 5 - Thursday : Col du Rousset - Font d'Urle
after breakfast, we get back into saddles. During this day across Vercors, we might see deers, chamoisses... Dinner and night in refuge.

Day 6 - Friday : Font d'Urle - Lente
On that place, we discover the Ambel area and the Lady Head. The forst track leads us to on other refuge where we will have a dinner and stay for one night.

Day 7 - Saturday : Lente - La Chapelle en Vercors
It is our last day... We leave the forest track and our guide brings us across Loscence plain, Mandement forest to get the viewsight of Revoulat where we discover the "Grands Goulets". We finish our ride and arrive at the horse riding school. Departure around 6 pm.

Weekly trails:
Meeting at 5.30 pm at the riding school or transfer from the train station of Valence TGV from 3.30 pm. the last day, departure from the train station after 3.30 pm if you want to use transfers. Transfers have to be booked before and paid directly to our guide (4 € one way).

Week-end trails:
Meeting from 6 pm at the riding school or transfer from the train station of Valence TGV from 7.30 pm. The last day, departure from the train station after 6.30 pm if you want to use transfers. Transfers have to be booked before and paid directly to our guide (4 € one way).

In Vercors area is a quiet fresh due to altitude but it's really pleasant in summer. It doesn't rain a lot but weather can change very quickly: bring an adequate equipment with you.
